Our DCRSD Heroes

Like the other nurses, she has gone above and beyond during these hard times with covid. I was speaking to another staff member who told me she would even handle the covid situations at home, late at night and during her days off as the pandemic gave no nurse a breather. She was handling an influx of situations coming her way also she was still attending to children while balancing it all. For example, my child has a short-term health issue with his heart that made me nervous to have home at school. She would keep me updated everyday on how my child was doing and would allow him to o her office anytime there was an issue. My child would tell me how nice she was, she would comfort him by talking with him and playing some of his favorite songs. This greatly helped the bit of anxiety that we were all dealing with. She has always gone way above and beyond and still remains to be thoughtful, caring and diligent.
