  • Makerspace Madness: hands on materials, tools and components, to help develop problem solving skills of kindergarten and 1st grade students (2020)
  • Move to Learn: materials to enhance the blacktop area behind school to provide movement activities for students to increase memory and brain functions, reduce accidents, enhance communication and aid in conflict resolution (2020)
  • Innovative iPad Integration: 30 iPads to help expand the number of devices to support students (2019)
  • Construction & Design Based Project Learning: introduction of project-based learning at the kindergarten level, giving students opportunities to build, create and learn about concepts including motion, stability, construction, etc. Made possible by a Lilley Family Grant (2018)
  • Music Therapy for PreK-Grade 1 Special Education: three, 30 min. music therapy sessions /week for 30 weeks; a clinical and evidence-based intervention to help students with physical, emotional, cognitive and social needs (2016)
  • Step It Up program: encourages increased physical activity with purchase of fit bits for students (1/day/classroom K & 1), teachers, and iPad for syncing results and reporting; integrated increased physical activity in the classroom is intended to improve behavior, increase concentration, promote healthy living, improve communication, and promote critical thinking skills to problem solve (2014)

  • Take Off with Books Program: with the purchase of additional titles, accelerated reading students will have dedicated time weekly to read more advanced works together with the school reading specialist (2012)
